Join us in the second of an ongoing series of guided Knit-A-Longs with Nancy Vandivert. Explore easy new projects, learn new skills and gain confidence in your knitting under Nancy's expert guidance!
This month we'll be dipping our toes into the world of shawl knitting. Choose from the easy-peasy Grain shawl or the lacy & slightly more challenging Oaken shawl, both from Tin Can Knits.
Session 1: Fri. February 3, 3:00-4:30 pm
Session 2: Fri. February 10, 3:00-4:30 pm
- Tin Can Knits Grain pattern (free on Ravelry) or Oaken pattern (included in price of class, printed copy will be provided at 1st class session. We will contact you for your Ravelry account name to provide you with a digital copy through Ravelry.)
- 620 yards of a worsted weight yarn of your choice
Size US 9 (5.5mm) circular needles, 40-60" long
- Tapestry needle, stitch markers & scissor
- Basic shawl construction
You should already know how to knit & purl.

She is a TKGA certified Master Hand Knitter and has had patterns published in CAST ON, Interweave Knits magazines, Knitty, Knit Picks, Blue Moon Fiber Arts Rockin’ Sock Club, and Twist Collective.
