From Pom Pom:

We're marking this very special occasion with a bumper issue which includes 13 patterns by designers who we knew would perfectly capture the heart and soul of Pom Pom! Our anniversary issue features designs from Isa Catepillán, Sari Nordlund, Marie Régnier, Inyoung Kim, Gina Fama Röckenwagner, Dawn Henderson, Amalia Sieber, Xandy Peters, Sylvia Watts-Cherry, Kiyomi Burgin, Sachiko Burgin, James N Watts, and Ainur Berkimbayeva. You'll find their patterns a versatile mix of pieces for warmer and cooler climes, and we’ve gone all out with a flip double cover!

Look forward to a collection of joyous knitting and crochet, along with a crafter’s guide to London, an article on cultural appropriation and the practice of Sashiko, and a recipe for the most beautiful madeleines we’ve ever seen.

Changes to Pom Pom

One very exciting change is that our flagship magazine is getting bigger! From Issue 41, Pom Pom Quarterly will be printed in a larger format to better show off each issue’s patterns and photography, and to better help you choose which project to cast on first. With larger pages comes an improved layout, which will make our pattern instructions easier to read – something you’ve told us we could work on. We’re also increasing our page count to bring you more of the articles and tutorials that are so essential to what we do.

"I'm so excited to finally find my perfect local yarn store. They carry such an amazing range of yarns, from locally sourced to small batch sheep to skein to naturally dyed. I've been twice (so far!) and I'm always greeted so nicely. It doesn't feel clique-y or snobby as some shops do. Their range is really amazing and so far I've gotten sweater yarn and yarn for 2 different shawls here. Dawn is great with color advice too. Highly reccomend!" - Google Review
"I couldn't leave this shop a high enough score. 10000/10. The instant I walked in, I was given a warm greeting and was immediately helped. I went in for sock yarn but, was overwhelmed by all the amazing local yarn. I love that they have a direct relationship with their yarn artisans. She even stayed a few minutes past closing when I was having problems picking just one skein. Never felt rushed or like she wanted me gone. She took the time to make sure I was getting exactly the righ.t product and even put my skein into a cake That's an amazing service that I've never been offered before. I can't say enough good things about this place. Ill definitely be making the trip there more often!" - Google Review
