Description:
Andrea Mowry has done it again. Ooey Gooey is a scrunchy and soft twisted cowl pattern worked with a color-changing yarn on a background of fluffy lace yarns held together. It's a perfect project for when you don't want to weave in any ends and you always have the right side facing you!
The pattern makes a one size cowl, approximately 8 inches (20.5 cm) high (double thickness) and 29 inches (73.5 cm) around and uses approx. 300 yards of MC in a sport or DK weight and 492 yards of CC in a lace weight mohair or alpaca held double.

US size 4 (3.5 mm) 24-inch circular needle
- A second needle of the same size will be needed to finish the cowl.

US size E crochet hook (for provisional cast on)
- Suggested Yarns: Note the pattern calls for holding two strands of lace weight together to get an approximate Sport weight gauge. If you do not wish to to hold two yarns together, you may select a single sport weight for your background color. Using two DK weight yarns for MC and CC will give a slightly larger cowl.
- Smooth waste yarn for provisional cast on (Perle cotton works well), stitch markers, tapestry needle
