Description: For this design, Florence Spurling was inspired by the beautiful geometric patterns found in Bauhaus Textiles: timeless design, harmonious colors and eye-catching shapes are elements all embodies in Otti Mitts.
These long mitts are worked in-the-round with Garter stitch trims on both edges. Bands of geometric color work fill up the bottom length and top trim, broken up by Stockinette Stitch. Otti Mitts are perfect for using up scraps or that one skein of variegated or color-changing yarn.
Finished Size fits most adult hands: 9 inches (23 cm) at forearm and 6.75 inches (17 cm) at palm. Length is 9 inches (23 cm).

- Otti Mitts by Florence Spurling
- Suggested yarns: Fingering or Sport weight yarns, one a solid or tonal for the background, and the other, either scraps or a contrasting tonal or variegated yarn for the designs.
- US 4 (3.5 mm) and US 3 (3.25 mm) needles, either DPNs, two 16-inch circulars, or 1 40-inch circular for Magic Loop
- Tape measure or ruler, tapestry needle, scissors, stitch markers

- You MUST know how to cast on, knit, purl and bind off
