Description: 

If you've glanced at the fashion runways or craft magazines lately, you'll know that crochet is back in a big way! Whether you've always wanted to learn or just need a refresher then this class is for you.

Over the course of three, one-hour sessions Sharilyn Ross will teach you the basic stitches that many crochet projects are built upon (chain, single crochet, double crochet) and how to make a granny square. 

Materials needed:

• Size J crochet hook
• 1 Skein worsted weight yarn
  • We suggest Plymouth Encore Worsted, Plymouth Worsted Merino Superwash or Plymouth Galway

About the teacher:  

When Sharilyn was a child, her grandmother taught her how to knit and her mother taught her how to crochet and she hasn't stopped since. Along the way she's also happily fallen down other crafty rabbit holes like spinning, felting, and weaving.

Sharilyn Ross has taught knitting and crochet classes for over 10 years in the Rochester area and is looking forward to sharing her enthusiasm for the fiber arts with you!
