About Joan
Joan has been knitting since childhood, which means she’s had plenty of time to make every mistake—and learn how to fix them! Her help sessions are filled with patience, kindness, and quiet confidence, whether you’re tackling a tricky pattern or just a dropped stitch.
She also crochets, quilts, needlepoints, and brings years of experience from the professional costuming world. Joan’s well-traveled and brings a warm, worldly perspective to every conversation.
She loves good food, a good book, wine, her grandkids, gardening, her cat Beau, and a sunset over the lake.
