Lollypop Farms has a special place in our hearts because of their love and care of animals. When we were asked to participate in their Legacy Society's "Crafting With Cats" series, we jumped at the opportunity!
As part of the care provided at Lollypop, staff provide a clean snuggle blanket to line each of the of kittens cages while they await their forever families. Once adopted, each cat is sent home with one of these blankets to help transition them to their new homes!
Several of our LBY crew attended the one day event on February 7, 2023 to supply materials (yarn, needles, yarn needle, bag, and pattern) and teach so each participant, regardless of skill level, could begin a 2'x2' garter stitch blanket!
It was lovely to meet individuals who are passionate about yarn AND animals and to create a few new knitters!
