Rhinebeck KAL 2026
Join us for a Rhinebeck KAL on our lead up to the 2026 Rhinebeck festival! We will be crocheting together and apart and we've love you join us. Our examples are only suggestions!
We've been thinking a lot about making our sweaters with locally raised/dyed yarns in line with Rhinebeck Sweaters for Good. We have a lot of options to choose from to keep your sweater footprint within the borders of our lovely fiber-rich state! Use the hashtags #sweatersforgood and #rhinebecksweatersforgood in your social media posts!
The top patterns we've been seeing are Antipodes by Andrea Mowry and 11:11 by Logan Laine. (If you have a crochet option or are planning to knit a different item, we'd love to hear about it!)

Yarn Options
Antipodes calls for Fingering weight yarn at around a 27st/4" gauge. We like Ewetopia Helix Fine (Coming Soon!), or Schoppel Zauberball Crazy for the contrast color with any solid fingering weight such as Spun Right Round Classic Sock Tonals, Megs and Co Ghost Town Fingering, Sandnes Garn Sisu being fantastic.

11:11 calls for Sport weight at about a 25st/4" gauge. Juniper Moon Patagonia, Megs and Co Organic Merino Sport, or even Rowan Felted Tweed would be perfect for the solid with Fibra Natura Cobblestone for the contrast.
