Description
Two-color brioche is just begging to make the sweetest knit snowflake. Featuring six points, this squishable snowflake requires nothing but the lighest blocking at the end; no starching required! The reverse side shows a six-petaled flower, making it ideal for hanging somewhere exposed. Different sizes are created by changing gauge; the sport weight size is small enough to hang as an ornament.
Over the course of 2 in-person classes Nancy Vandivert will teach you how to make this cute project.
The pattern calls for Sport weight and Worsted weight yarns for the two different sizes. Each size uses approximately 20 yards each of a light and dark color yarn. The small snowflake is approximately 4 inches across, and the large approximately 6 inches across.
You may use whatever size yarn you wish. Just be sure to select a needle size one size smaller than you would usually use.
At least some experience knitting brioche will make this class more enjoyable. It is NOT a beginner brioche class.
