Crochet has never been more popular! From blankets to plushies to sweaters and so much more - now is the time to learn to crochet!
Timing: This is not your typical crochet class! Sign up for as many or as few sessions as you'd like. For an absolute beginner approximately three (3) sessions is recommended. Michelle is happy to provide guidance on the number of recommended sessions after the first session.
Perfect for: Absolute beginners, those needing a refresh on stitch skills, or those who are working to build confidence. Ages 10 and up.
Skill Learned: Skills covered: chaining, single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, in-line and in-circle rows.
Materials: 5mm hook and a single skein of worsted weight yarn (such as: Encore Worsted or Coastal Cotton Worsted)

Michelle is new to the Lift Bridge Yarns community of teachers, but has been teaching science professionally for nearly 15 years. She is excited to combine her passion for crochet with her love of helping make skills and ideas accessible for all.
