$60.00

Local designer Laura Nelkin's Reversible Undulating Waves scarf is both a fun introduction to knitting with beads and a great way to use a precious single skein of hand painted, fingering weight yarn. This is an intermediate lace pattern with both written and charted instructions.  The pattern has links to video tutorials for stringing beads and working the Undulating Waves stitch.  Finished measurement is 6 inches wide by 46 inches long.

Rochester is fortunate to have a number of local bead shops where you can find Japanese seed beads: Let's Bead in East Rochester and Bead Breakout on Monroe Avenue in Brighton.  Big box craft stores may also have Japanese seed beads.

There is an optional class earlier in the week that will show how to prestring your beads.  Dental floss threaders will be provided fro those who attend.

Don't forget these...

"I'm so excited to finally find my perfect local yarn store. They carry such an amazing range of yarns, from locally sourced to small batch sheep to skein to naturally dyed. I've been twice (so far!) and I'm always greeted so nicely. It doesn't feel clique-y or snobby as some shops do. Their range is really amazing and so far I've gotten sweater yarn and yarn for 2 different shawls here. Dawn is great with color advice too. Highly reccomend!" - Google Review
"I couldn't leave this shop a high enough score. 10000/10. The instant I walked in, I was given a warm greeting and was immediately helped. I went in for sock yarn but, was overwhelmed by all the amazing local yarn. I love that they have a direct relationship with their yarn artisans. She even stayed a few minutes past closing when I was having problems picking just one skein. Never felt rushed or like she wanted me gone. She took the time to make sure I was getting exactly the righ.t product and even put my skein into a cake That's an amazing service that I've never been offered before. I can't say enough good things about this place. Ill definitely be making the trip there more often!" - Google Review
