Join us for a relaxing KAL as we make Here Comes the Sun shawl to celebrate the eclipse happening on April 8, 2024! Here Comes the Sun celebrates stars and beyond.  Available in both 4-color and 3-color versions, Liftbridge has kits ready or you are welcome to raid your stash for colors of fingering weight yarn.  The KAL will include instruction and assistance as you work through the slip stitch, cross stitch, mosaic and lace patterns.

Finished size in fingering weight yarn is approx. 61 inches (155 cm) wide and 23 inches (58 cm) deep.  You may use other weights of yarn; this will affect finished size and the amounts of yarn used.

4-color version: MC 450 yards, CC1 350 yards, CC2 230 yards, CC3 230 yards

3-color version: MC 515 yards, CC1 308 yards, CC2 255 yards

About the teacher:
Nancy Vandivert happily admits to being a knitting nerd. She is a TKGA certified Master Hand Knitter and has had patterns published in CAST ON, Interweave Knits magazines, Knitty, Knit Picks, Blue Moon Fiber Arts Rockin’ Sock Club, and Twist Collective. She has taught knitting and crochet in the Rochester, NY area for over 20 years.
