The Rules
- Projects can be knit or crochet.
- One project per challenge task. (No double dipping! You'll get credit for 1 challenge even if the project you are working on fulfills the requirements for multiple challenges.)
- Each project must use at least some yarn from Lift Bridge Yarns (except for finishing an old FO).
- You must bring your finished project (or photos of your FO) to the shop to have your challenges marked as complete by staff & to receive prizes.
- Prizes will be awarded for completing 5, 10, 15, 20 & 25 challenges.
- If you complete all 25 projects, you’ll be entered into a drawing for a $100 gift card! (You overachiever, you!)
- All projects must be completed between 1/1/24 & 12/31/24.
- Prizes for the 2024 challenge must be picked up by 1/31/25.
The Challenges
- Cotton: at least 45% blend
- Wool: at least 50% blend
- Alpaca or llama: 100% or a blend
- Amigurumi or stuffy
- Yarn held double
- Fingering weight
- Sport or DK weight
- Worsted weight
- Bulky weight
- Home decor: blanket, pillow, basket, wall hanging, etc.
- Socks or slippers
- Shawl or Scarf
- Donation or gift
- Favorite color
- Knit a sock out of a sock tube
- Gloves or mittens
- Hat
- Sweater
- Learn a new technique or skill
- Attend a Sit & Stitch
- Take a class at LBY
- Finish an old work in progress
- Use lots of colors! (stripes, colorwork, color blocks, etc.)
- Use extra tools: cable needles, lifelines, buttons, lots of stitch markers, etc.
- Create your own challenge! Use all stash yarn for a project, learn to read charts, tackle a project that intimidates you... make this challenge all yours!
