LBY is FIVE! 🎂

Somehow, 5 years has gone by SO fast.

We opened the doors of the shop in November, 2019, closed down for COVID 4 months later, got the shop (and ourselves) through the pandemic with the help of this amazing community, outgrew our space, renovated & moved to the old trolley station, grew our amazing team of people... it has been a wild and amazing ride. We are in disbelief that November is already our 5th anniversary!

From the very beginning, community is the center of Lift Bridge Yarns. The past 5 years, we've seen our community grow & thrive. This is truly YOUR yarn shop, we just keep the lights on and the shelves stocked. We really can't put into words how full our hearts are. Thank you, thank you, thank you for 5 amazing years, and here's to the next 5!

OKOKOK... so what are we doing to celebrate?

It's going to be a whole month of fun!

👉Each week we'll release limited-edition, custom colors from our local dyers on the first three FRIDAYS! We've given everyone the same mood board to use as color inspiration, so each colorway will be unique but coordinating. Pick up a skein from each dyer throughout the month and they'll all work together in one super fun project!

  • Friday, Nov. 15: Megs & Co. & Manic Punk
  • Monday, Nov. 19: MooRoo's color will be released early for MooRoo Week!

👉Each week there will be a different special or sale, and Black Friday & Small Business Saturday are going to be cray cray!

👉Out-of-towners: All custom colors & weekly specials will be available online, too!

We'll send emails throughout the month with more details and links, but here's the plan:

  • Nov. 5-11 - Free pattern with purchase: Buy yarn for any pattern available on Ravelry & we'll gift you the pattern!

  • Nov. 12-18: Sweater week: Buy a sweater quantity (4 or more skeins), get 19% off!

  • Nov. 19-25: MooRoo Week: We'll be releasing MooRoo's anniversary color and celebrating all things Kelly! You'll get a free gift with any MooRoo purchase. (Kelly is closing the doors of her dye studio at the end of the year. We are sad to see MooRoo go but so excited to send her off in style!)

  • Nov. 26-30: Customer Appreciation Week! Double points on every purchase!

  • Nov. 28: Closed for Thanksgiving
  • Nov. 29: Black Friday! EVERYTHING in the store is 29% off. Yes, everything!
  • Nov. 30: Small Business Saturday! Free $15 gift certificate with ANY purchase! (Yes, any purchase! Gift certificates must be used by 12/24/24.)
