Description: Celebrate mid-winter by crocheting some snowflakes and learning new crochet skills along the way!  In this class we'll learn how to make 2 different snowflakes.  The first will be a snowflake that is a variation on a Granny Square.  The second is lacier and will give you the chance to learn to read a crochet chart for a project in the round.

This class is suitable for ages 12+.

Materials needed:

Note: Pattern price is included in the class cast.  When you sign up, please provide your Ravelry name and a digital copy of the pattern will be added to your Ravelry library.   If you are not on Ravelry, arrangements can be made to get you a digital pattern copy.  Harcopy patterns will be available at the first class.

Skills Needed

      You MUST know how to work single and double crochet before class.

About the teacher:  When Sharilyn was a child, her grandmother taught her how to knit and her mother taught her how to crochet and she hasn't stopped since.   Sharilyn Ross has taught knitting and crochet classes for 10 years in the Rochester area and is looking forward to sharing her enthusiasm for the fiber arts with you!
