Description:

Wesley is a simple striped mitten with a knitted liner. The outer is knit first, from the cuff to tip, then the inner is picked up from the cuff and knit to the tip before being tucked inside the outer. The pattern calls for making stripes, but is just as lovely in one color.

Pattern is one size only. Sizing can be varied by using thicker or thinner yarn. The pattern calls for DK weight.

Materials needed:

If you are not on Ravelry, other arrangements can be made to get you a digital copy.  A hardcopy of the pattern will be provided at the 1st class.

• Wesley by Galt House of Yarn
• US size 6 (4.0mm) and US size 4 (3.5 mm), either 1 40-inch circular needle OR two 16-inch circular needles, OR DPNs.
• Suggested Yarns:
  • Outer Layer: DK Merino Superwash, Squish DK Tonals or Speckles, Making Tracks DK, 
  • Inner Layer: Mohair Silk, Suri DK
• stitch markers, tapestry needle

Skills Needed:

You MUST know how to knit and purl.

• I-cord Cast On
• Jogless Jog
• Picking up stitches
