Add-on this *FREE* ball winding service to your yarn order to have your yarn wound into cakes!
Most yarn we sell comes in twisted hanks, which will need to be wound into cakes or balls before you begin working with it. Let us do the hard work for you and wind it up before you get it in your hot lil' hands!
Each skein you elect to be wound will arrive wound into a yarn cake with the label tucked in the center. We recommend pulling from the outside of the cake to avoid collapse and tangling but you may choose to pull from the center if you so desire!
Please note: YARN WOUND INTO CAKES CANNOT BE RETURNED.
Policy regarding yarn winding services:
We are happy to wind yarn purchased elsewhere. Our service fee for winding yarn is $20 per hour, with a minimum charge of $5 for 15 minutes of winding. Yarn purchased at Lift Bridge Yarns will be wound free of charge.
Please note that we reserve the right to refuse to wind yarn if it is tangled, dirty, or for any other reason deemed unsuitable by our staff. During busy periods, we may need to ask you to leave your yarn for winding and pick it up later.
