Dates/Times: Tuesdays 6/4, 6/11, & 6/18, 2026 | 2-3 pm
Description: We'll be learning both the Granny Stitch and the Virus Stitch patterns in this class. You'll be able to design your own unique triangular shawl by choosing how to combine these two patterns together. A beginner friendly choice would be to just use the Granny Stitch. Combining both the Granny and Virus patterns into your shawl would be a great choice for an advanced beginner or intermediate crocheter. Either way you'll be rewarded with a beautiful summer shawl perfect for a chilly evening or an over air-conditioned locale.
This class is suitable for ages 12+.

About the teacher:
When Sharilyn was a child, her grandmother taught her how to knit and her mother taught her how to crochet and she hasn't stopped since. Along the way she's also happily fallen down other crafty rabbit holes like spinning, felting, and weaving.
Sharilyn Ross has taught knitting and crochet classes for over 10 years in the Rochester area and is looking forward to sharing her enthusiasm for the fiber arts with you!
